Mission Support

In dependence upon God, we will endeavor to support the Hillcrest's Mission Program. We will also endeavor to participate with our time and talents in the personal ministry program.

May God lay upon our hearts a burden for enlarging the borders of His kingdom. May we have such faith in Him--who always wonderfully cares for us--to make a generous commitment of our time, talent and earthly goods for the spreading of the Gospel to all people.

At Hillcrest we aim to provide financial support, prayer support, as well as human resources for many missionaries and mission causes. Each spring the congregation commits itself to a Faith Promise Mission Program both financially and in prayer support. A variety of missionaries and mission causes are supported by these funds which are received in offerings on the last Sunday of each month.

At various times we support missionaries or missions on a short-term basis. On a long-range basis we help provide support for several other missionaries and their families. We also provide financial support for individuals personally doing mission work. We attempt to provide at least one short-term mission project for the congregation.
