Rev. Brian Bosscher

Pastor Brian Bosscher joined Hillcrest as Senior Pastor in March of 2007. He uses his preaching and leadership gifts to serve a congregation he feels is eager to grow in their faith and love for one another as well as the community.

Before coming to Hillcrest Brian grew up in Grand Rapids, MI, and graduated from Calvin Seminary in 1981. He served as Pastor of Prospect Park CRC in Prospect Park, NJ, Pastor of Ada CRC in Ada, MI, Executive Director of Youth Unlimited, and Pastor of Preaching and Worship at Sunshine Community Church in Grand Rapids, MI.

Several things motivate Pastor Brian to do his job at Hillcrest: the sure hope of his own personal resurrection to eternal life in the new heaven and new earth, the desire to teach and apply the Word of God to people’s lives so that they can live in a healthy relationship with God and others, the fact that God has chosen the local church as His primary means of discipling the world, and a God-given gift to love and lead people.

In his spare time Brian enjoys golfing, boating, water skiing and working in his yard.

He and his wife, Judy, have two married children, one engaged to be married and three grandchildren.
