Tricia claimed God’s promises at a young age and takes great comfort in God’s faithfulness. Despite God’s faithfulness sometimes life’s path is not well lit and Tricia found herself at a career crossroads in 2014. As a graduate of Calvin College in education and with a varied work history in school, church and home she wanted to be used by God wherever she was placed. Feeling called by God into this position she began and continues this ministry in faith. “As the Director of Adult Discipleship my mission is to help the adults at Hillcrest to deepen their love for and faith in God and His promises. I also want to empower our adults to be actively discipling their children and grandchildren in the grace and knowledge of our Savior, Jesus Christ.” Tricia loves the local church. Having grown up in Lafayette, IN, and married to a Canadian, she and her family have found great comfort in their Hillcrest CRC family. She desires every member and attender at Hillcrest to feel the love of this family in Christ as well as to renew and deepen their faith in Jesus.
Tricia, her husband, and their three children relish family time in the kitchen preparing and eating meals around the table, laughing, joking and sharing the daily happenings. In the winter they like to hit the slopes and the summer season often finds them relaxing around a campfire.
